Renewable Energy Campaign

Power Paths will provide many prominent organizations with the tools to inform and educate their members on issues at the top of their agendas: the challenge of global warming, and the need to find sustainable new paths toward energy security. The shared objectives of this media campaign cut across many of our nation's government, academic, business and non-governmental organizations.

The Power Paths documentary project will include national broadcast and distribution of a one hour DVD, make use of an extensive media campaign on cable and broadcast television, and a website containing many links for colleges, organizations, and individual consumers accompanied by educational printed curriculum materials.

Our objective is for millions to become more educated about access to renewable forms of energy for their homes, the environmental benefits of renewable energy, and to empower them as citizens capable of demanding more efficient and cleaner sources of transportation and public power supply.

We will also show how renewable energy choices made by communities and nations around the world will directly impact reduction of greenhouse gases responsible for global climate change, improve the quality of life, and promote true "homeland security."

Clearly, what is needed in America is an articulated public awareness of our vast viable energy options and proven paths ready for implementation. While sustainable energy solutions are available, they are moving too slowly toward the mainstream. The Power Paths campaign provides the knowledge, confidence and inspiration necessary for individuals to become actively involved in their energy-related choices and options, and provides a most vital piece of the solution to building a sustainable future for our nation.

Thoughtful coverage of the Native American role in implementing successful renewable energy projects will make the practicality and desirability of these options compellingly clear to the public and our policy makers.
